I have a boss who is really nice and doesn’t expect more than he knows I’m capable. I’ve been slightly freaked out about jumping since that occasion with Lilli and so I’ve just stuck to Hero, well mostly because I ride when he teaches and we’re occupied with different things.
Today he asked if I want to jump Ipala and I almost begged for mercy. But I tried anyway. He has this way I suppose. Not technical, not about riding, none of that.
Just ‘sit up and smile’.
And that made all the difference.
